Perrysburg Area Historic Museum
Located in the Spafford House, the Perrysburg Area Historic Museum collects and preserves artifacts from Perrysburg. Admission is only a few dollars and children five and younger get in free. It’s an excellent place to take your kids to introduce them to the history of their hometown. The museum is also a great spot for history buffs traveling through the area.

Fort Meigs
If you love Ohio history, then you need to visit Fort Meigs. The past comes to life at this historic fort where live reenactments, displays and events provide a peek into years gone by. Fort Meigs offers tours and hands-on activities outdoors from spring to fall, while the museum remains open year-round.
Visit during Memorial Day or the Fourth of July for special presentations and return in the winter to enjoy one of the best sledding hills in the area. They also host game nights, crafting events and ghost tours.
The Role of Fort Meigs in the War of 1812
Fort Meigs played an important role in fending off British and Native American forces during the War of 1812. William Henry Harrison ordered the fort’s commission and construction was completed in April 1813. American militiamen withstood two sieges during that year, and the fort operated as a supply depot following those victories.
Historic Perrysburg Incorporated
