Joshua Johnson is the Executive Director of Visit Perrysburg. He has nearly a decade of leadership experience in community development, strategic planning and event management. His deep passion for promoting Perrysburg as a premier tourism destination inspires Josh to lead efforts to foster local partnerships and enhance the city’s vibrant culture.

Before joining Visit Perrysburg, Joshua served as the Assistant Director of Archbold Parks and Recreation where he successfully created and expanded community programs and events that resulted in significant engagement and revenue growth. His experience in event planning, budgeting and building community connections has laid a strong foundation for his leadership efforts in Perrysburg.

In his current role, Joshua oversees Visit Perrysburg’s operations, collaborating with businesses, hotels and tourism groups to attract visitors and boost the local economy. His innovative vision and dedication to excellence have established the city as a welcoming destination for travelers.

Joshua attended the University of Toledo where he excelled as a student-athlete and graduated with a degree in sports administration. Outside of his professional achievements, Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife, Cara, and their two sons, Hayes and Jett.
