Perrysburg: A Place for Hometown Adventures
The Perrysburg Visitors and Convention Bureau, Inc. was founded in March 1997 to promote tourism and convention business and provide a higher quality of life for our residents. We’re committed to maintaining economic development by supporting educational, retail and dining establishments in our community. In 2022, our 501c6 private corporation adopted a new alias to encapsulate our mission: Visit Perrysburg.
Our organization spotlights local businesses, entertainment and attractions in our historic town. Perrysburg also presents opportunities to educate the public on Ohio history and how our town played a part in it.
Our Mission
We strive to promote the city of Perrysburg through marketing efforts as an ideal destination for leisure, group and business travelers.

A Proud History
Situated in Wood County in Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg is named for Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry who served as a naval commander during the War of 1812.
Our downtown area is located on Louisiana Avenue which ends at Front Street, providing scenic views of the Maumee River. Perrysburg offers a taste of small-town America and features a variety of historic homes and buildings that showcase how the town has evolved over the last 200 years.
But don’t be fooled by our heritage. Our town is bursting with contemporary attractions and exciting events.

New Look, Same Great Town
We’ve refreshed our logo to better encompass everything that makes us uniquely Perrysburg. Executive Director, Josh Johnson, explains how the intricate design reflects different aspects of our town.
