Louisiana Avenue Perrysburg,
A community-engaging festival featuring live music, kids activities, eclipse education, food, festivities, and so much more! You’ll want to check back here often, as we’ll be updating our schedule of events as we go – and it’s going to be SO much fun!
Let’s have a SOLAR-bration!
Saturday, April 6, 2024 12pm-6pm:
It all starts at High Noon with Way Public Library, Visit Perrysburg, and Downtown Perrysburg, Inc joining forces to bring some great indoor (and outdoor, weather permitting) activities for your family!
Look for a LUNAR STATION Kids Zone, Moon Pie Eating Contest with local celebrities, space-themed arts & crafts, and activities in the heated Big Tent on the Commodore Lawn (thanks, Perrysburg Schools!). If you need ISO-certified eclipse protective eyewear, we’ll have both viewers and glasses for sale for $1 each. Nearby food trucks SUSIE LYNNE’S LEMONADE and RUSTY’S ROAD TRIP will keep you fueled up. AIRMAZING PARTY RENTALS will provide several inflatable experiences for children ages 3+ from 12pm-4pm on the Commodore Lawn near the Big Tent. Also nearby will be the “Tour of the Wellness Tree” with PHS DECA volunteers. Our friends at ERIE COTTON CANDY CO. will be handing out small bags of their delicious cotton candy to the first 500 guests to visit the Lunar Station. Enjoy all the bundts you can handle with our friends at NOTHING BUNDT CAKE in the Big Tent. Experience MAGIC WITH ELI on the main stage. Join the KIDS DASH – TAKE FLIGHT at 2pm (register HERE when the link is live next month). Try your skills at the OBSTACLE COURSE by Redline Athletics. Experience GLO-Vation Circus with a performance that’s out of this world! There will also be FREE space-themed movies, retro space-themed video games, and kids crafts at WAY LIBRARY plus DOWNTOWN PERRYSBURG, INC. is helping with more fun kid stuff, and there’s a window-decorating contest, event-themed dining specials, and retail sales throughout the Historic District, compliments of our downtown business partners! We’ll also be partnering with VITAL VIBES YOGA for a special Sun & Moon Yoga experience for all ages and skill levels from 12:30-1pm! The festivities conclude with FREE live music on the main stage from 4-6pm featuring NOT FAST ENUFF (and yes, they’ll perform the Bonnie Tyler song with their own spin, of course!) in the Big Tent. Then, as the sun goes down, travel through the Historic District and participate in the GLOW WALK, put together by our awesome businesses! More information on the Glow Walk in the coming weeks – be sure to start planning your glow-outfits now!
